To Shipmate Peter Gallagher. My most sincerest expression of sympathy in the passing of your Father. Howard tell me that he was a Submariner and in my mind (as well as your) a true American Hero, a special breed of Man, who served and survived. My prayers are out to you and your family for a rapid healing from this void in your life. Your Dad may be gone, but surely never forgotten. I wish I had the opportunity to have met him. I understand that Howard will be sending me your flag to be raised in your Dad's honor to be raised on the USS Pampanito. Be assured that I will be personally take care of the tribute to your Dad and consider it an honor to do so. Sincerely, Leonard Stefanelli
