Melvin Bernstein Obituary

Mel Bernstein, of Heritage Ranch, was born in November 1928 in Los Angeles, and passed away Friday, Nov. 26, 2010. He attended Dorsey High School and served in the U.S. Army. Mel designed oil rigs with National Supply Co., until 1964, when he became a real estate broker and opened Imperial Realty. He had lived in the home he had built on Nacimiento Lake Road since 1982. Mel enjoyed skiing, dancing and showing his dogs in competition. He had season tickets, behind home plate, at Dodger Stadium for 20 years, and coached LIttle League Baseball for many years. Mel is survived by his brother, Irving Bernstein; children Lloyd Gary Bernstein and Dena Jordan; grandchildren Summer Silvas, Casey, Matthew and Alexander Bernstein, Michael and Scott Hoopingarner and Lisa Jordan. He was predeceased by his daughter, Nancy Dennis. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m Friday, Dec. 3, 2010, at the Paso Robles District Cemetery. Kuehl-Nicolay Funerals 238-4383 Paso Robles
