Rick, Although we had known each other all through school, I feel so fortunate to have re-connected with you after all those years. I remember coming over to your place watching the band practice and you making us some killer food and drinking your favorite wine. We talked about your dog and your son and just enjoyed the evening with everbody there. It was a simple night, but yet so meaningful to me now. I also remember you, Renee, and Ricky coming over to Erik's in the summer time and watching you and Ricky swimming and enjoying each other. You made me laugh and made me feel so special when you told me the time in high school when you were driving with us cheerleaders to an event and you told me how excited you were to be there with us all! Even though we knew of each other, we had never really talked much until recently and it was so nice to get to know you. You are truly missed and I think of you and your loved ones that have to live on without you. My love goes out to Renee, your mom, Russ, Lynette, Chopper and everyone that knew you. I hope that their hearts will heal. You will never be forgotten but will definitely keep on being missed by many! I hope you are at peace now and know how much you were loved!

However in November 2011 our family can purchase a memory book with photos that are submitted and all the messages sent by Ricks Friends, and family. My stepfather Rick was a major influence on me. He not only taught me everything I know about music, but taught me a little about carpentry, cooking, camping and countless other valuable traits. Everything he did he excelled at and always was eager to share his knowledge. He was the PERFECT father figure and treated everybody with respect, as everybody did to him.
