Dick you gave me a 20 yr. dream. God blessed us both. I still see you everyday. I saw you this morning in the brilliant light at the "ROCK". And I understand now, that we haven't lost you. I never will. See you, when I see you. Soon is okay. I miss you terribly in person. And you know I do. Tammy, you are the BEST daughter that he did deserve! Glorious!

There are a few times that we are allowed to have a glimpse of a persons life. It's heartening to see so many many people who loved and cared for Richard. It was a pleasure to have known Richard and all his lovely family and friends.

My dad was the REAL most interesting man in the world. He called me "daughter o'mine", and I loved that. I am so happy that my dad became a Christian this April. If I didn't know for absolute certain that he was in heaven celebrating with Christ now, I would have a level of despair that I cannot comprehend. The Lord chose him, and he finally heeded the call. I wouldn't have made it through his illness and death without my faith in Jesus Christ. He has turned something tragic into something glorious in many ways, as only He can do. I can't wait to someday meet the whole man that God created my dad to be. As unique and special as he was when we all knew him, I can only imagine how amazing he will be then. I can't think of anything better than if all of you were there too. Thank you everyone for the heartfelt words of kindness and sympathy. They are so greatly appreciated.

I was blessed to have met this incredible man in my life. The long walks we took together...the late night conversations. The memories I will cherish and take with me. I was changed for knowing him...loving him. Peace be with his family and friends. RIP "Dick" I will see you on the other side. We will share a sausage pizza from the port. Love you always....

No matter the health condition
or a loved one's age
The loss is not lessened when they
turn that final page

But the book has not yet ended
a new chapter's just begun
We cherish the memories
we'll see them again
That's a promise of God's Son

As days pass into weeks
during quiet times you'll find
that time can heal the heartache
of loved ones left behind

In the end Dick found what he most looked for.
