Rosario Zambo Cabonce

Rosario Zambo Cabonce, 80, of Grover Beach passed away Friday, Nov. 26, 2010.   Rosario was born in the Philipine Isands in May of 1930 and had been a resident of San Luis Obispo County for the past 47 years. She was active in the Filipino Community of San Luis Obispo, Legionarios Del Trabajo and the Narvacanian Association of the Central Coast. Rosario is survived by daughters Arlene Cabonce of Grover Beach and Rosemarie Jane Cabonce of Los Angeles; son, Roger Cabonce (Brenda) of Grover Beach; step-daughter, Loretta Brake (Bobby) of Palm Springs, Calif.; grandchildren Ryan, Sara, Jesse, Kyle, Robinson, Beau, Wyatt and Hannah; brothers Benjamin, Isidro, Magdaleno, Samuel, Venancio and Mario Zambo; and sister, Janet Zambo. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mariano Cabonce in January 1996. Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m., with a vigil service at 6 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 1, 2010, at Marshall-Spoo, 1239 Longbranch in Grover Beach. Visitation will also precede the Mass of Christian burial at 9 a.m., with the Mass at 10 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 2, 2010, at the St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, 800 Bello in Pismo Beach, followed by burial at the Arroyo Grande Cemetery.
