Resident of Watsonville
Alejandro "Alex" Lopez passed away at a Walnut Creek Hospital on May 8, 2017. He was 18.
Alejandro Lopez was born to Gabriel L. Morales and Juana Ramirez in Watsonville on August 21, 1998. At the age of five, he started playing soccer and became an excellent player, traveling all over the United States and even abroad with the Santa Cruz Breakers. Alex trained with numerous international clubs, including AS Roma. He was also a member of Major League Soccer's Club Real Salt Lake. He attended local schools, and had a smile that was contagious.
He is survived by his parents; Gabriel L. Morales and Juana Ramirez, five brothers; Roberto, Francisco, and Enrique Garcia, Gabriel and Geremias Lopez and nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at Mehl's Colonial Chapel on Sunday, May 14, 2017 from 5 to 9pm with a Funeral Service at 7pm.
Burial will take place on Monday, May 15th at 1pm. at Pajaro Valley Memorial Park.
