Prof Dickson was as memorable as it gets, with his white lab coat, big beard and long hear, the perfect image of the scientist, with PV=nRT, the universal gas law on the back of his lab coat, which he would turn around to show. He wrote and introductory chemistry text, and think he had four adopted children. Was warm and funny when visiting his office. Were days so great with him, miss them , and always thankful for his deep and clear teaching, outstanding in all ways, led to my AS in physics, and later TEFL professor. Todd Saed

Prof Dickson was a memorable person in the chemistry class at Cabrillo COllege, with PV =nRT the pressure formula on the back of his lab coat, he would slowly turn around so all could see it, believe he had four adopted kids, plus the Intro to Chemistry text he wrote, as great as it gets
