ROSABELLE PACHECO Obituary

ROSABELLE PACHECO Rosabelle Pacheco, age 68, of Santa Fe, passed away Monday, November 1, 2010, following a brief illness. Rosabelle was born January 9, 1942, to Alfredo and Cristina Rivera. She married Jose Pacheco in 1962 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Rosabelle found quiet solace in gardening and the outdoors. She possessed a sly and tacit wit, and loved joking with (and sometimes on) her siblings. She loved animals, dogs especially, and was fond of classical guitar. She and Jose attended innumerable concerts, sharing in their unrelenting bond. But above all else in this world, Rosabelle loved her family, whose mirth and comfort was for her bliss, in it's purest divine form. There are those that live life as it comes and watch it's splendor drift lazily by. Then there are those rare few, who are indeed that very splendor. An angel who's descent from heaven was not a gift of her own, but a blessing for each and every one of us who were fortunate enough to know her, so too is her ascent back to the kingdom of God from whence she came. Her memory will breathe everlasting in the joy we feel when we close our eyes and see her face, and her life unending as we attempt to share even a tiny bit to the unfathomable love and generosity she showed us all. She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Jose Pacheco; sons: Ruben and Michael Pacheco; grandsons: Paul and Gabriel Pacheco; 2 grandchildren, and numerous other family members. Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, November 4, 2010, 10 a.m. at St. Anne Catholic Church. Arrangements are under the direction of Berardinelli Family Funeral Service 1399 Luisa Street, Santa Fe, NM 87505 (505)984-8600

To the Pacheco Family and Rivera Family:
I had not seen you or Rosabelle for a long time, but I do remember her graciousness and kindness and love for all of you. I will keep you all in my prayers and know that I can understand your loss deeply as I too recently lost my daughter and husband. Jimmy, your Mom and Dad, Lala and Johnny were two of the other greatest persons I have ever known. You were all great friends and neighbors. Celso and I send our condolences. Know that you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers - you are fortunate to have shared so many wonderful memories together. I was fortunate to grow up with Rosabelle as a close friend and a neighbor. I will always remember how our little group used to love to go downtown, and how much fun we used to have with our constant giggling about "everything".
