"It's all good." That was Vern's motto. He lived by it. From the time I first started to get haircuts from him in 1995, I'll never forget all of the long conversations and just the great affection that I felt for him. He was "family" to me. I loved Vern for his humor, his positive outlook on life, even through the most difficult of situations. I'm still in shock that he is gone from this beautiful earth, but hope his soul in another beautiful space now. There is forever a place in my heart for you.Kathleen

Vern, Beverly, Teanna, Jasmine and Rejeana,
I showed up for my appointment tonight to find the sign on your shop window offering thanks and good bye. I was in such disbelief. I had come to know all of you while getting the best haircut that no other hair cutter will ever compare to. My deepest sympathy to you Beverly and sorry that I was not there to share with you in time of grief. My buddy of over 20 years. Your dream of getting a trike. Your loud talking voice. Your crazy jokes. Your helping me in my time of loss and always ready to talk about anything but mainly about family. So many memories of all your family fill my head through so many years. I never had to tell you how to cut my hair, you just did it and you did it so well. Signing my next appointment cards as Dr. Vern so I could leave work early. I'm going to miss you Dr. Vern. Watch over Beverly my friend, she still needs you.
Always,
Abbie Collins

I just wanted to send my prayers and condolences to Vern's family. I was his client for the past 10 years and had appts. set into Dec. I can't express how much I miss him and how surprised I was to hear of his passing. His joy of life and caring personality was and will remain with me always. His love for his girls was to be commended. After attending his service I can see how much he was loved and the background he thrived in and made him what a joy and pleasure he was to know. Peace to all he left behind.

Beverly, Jasmine and Teanna.,
I know that this time of loss of your husband, your father and your best friend is really hard for all of you, but just remember the memories he left you all with and when your feeling sad think of all the times he made you smile, he is with you all always and will never stop watching over you. He was the best hair dresser ever and there is not anyone that could ever replace his work of art. Vern was the type of man that made everyone happy and always gave the best avice to make everyone look there best. I remember when I would go in with my kids and he would always tease them about little boys and girls soup and how he knew this alien that would come and make them into little boy and girl soup just to make them sit still, boy it really worked and they would not move a inch. Him and i would crack up the whole time I was getting my hair cut until the kids got older and then would tell him hey Vern do you want little boys and girls soup we will call the alien. Vern would just chuckle. We will all miss him!!! He was the best hair dresser ever and a kind friend to all.

Dear Beverly, Jasmine and Teanna,
I am so sorry to hear of your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you. I was just with him on the Saturday the 27th getting a hair cut. I would always make the trip down from Rio Rancho because I would not let no one but Vern cut my hair. Now I do not know what I am going to do. No one can cut hair like Vern Neddo. He was trully the best. I have known him for 11 years and I can honestly say he was a wonderful man . He will be missed Deeply.

Remembering a good friend and by far the best hairdresser I ever had...with a knack for making everyone look great and feel great about themselves at the same time. Always worked too hard to give the best to clients...and to the family whom he loved so very much. Darn it Vern, I'm so going to miss you.

Vern,
Dude, it was such a shock. You were always looking at the glass half full. You were always there to talk and listen and were the best at what you did. I will miss seeing you and will struggle to find someone that cuts hair as well as you did. My prayers go out to your two beautiful daughters and wife.

Dear Beverly and Girls,
I am so sorry, when I heard about Vern I felt so bad I know how much he loves you and what a great guy he is. I would see him everyday running in the school for Teanna saying how he was always in a hurry; I guess he knew he had to do everything fast. May God hold you close and comfort you. Please know we will always be here for you.

Vern, you were such a great guy. I loved having you cut my hair for so many years. Going to visit you in the middle of my workday provided me with an hour of escape from the rest of the world. You always had a smile on your face and a joke to tell, but you listened when I needed to talk too. You were a good friend and will be sorely missed. Bev and girls, I am so very sorry for your loss and I hope your memories of Vern will comfort you in the difficult days to come.

Vern,
I am very sorry to hear of your passing. I remember the days of school, thinking back to the 5th grade. We were sitting in class I can't remember what caused the the punch to happen, but before I knew it, my fist went flying and made contact with your eye. You didn't cry, but you sure did have one heck of a shiner. Every now and then I tell the story. I wish your family the best during their trip in which they will have to travel with you watching from above. It is not an easy one but with time will get easier. You and your family will always be in our hearts, thoughts and prayers
