To my best friend Vern the nut Neddo since the fifth grade when i first saw you i knew i wanted to be like you well liked by all easy going and easy to be friends with.... i had the pleasure of your last haircut saturday the day before your birthday the last hug i gave you was a memorable one the last time i saw you smiled as i walked out the door of your salon ... so many good times to share like the double dates in penasco in high school the way you taught me how to be with girls and...

"It's all good." That was Vern's motto. He lived by it. From the time I first started to get haircuts from him in 1995, I'll never forget all of the long conversations and just the great affection that I felt for him. He was "family" to me. I loved Vern for his humor, his positive outlook on life, even through the most difficult of situations. I'm still in shock that he is gone from this beautiful earth, but hope his soul in another beautiful space now. There is forever a place in my heart...

I'm for a lost of words! Vern, you will be missed dearly. You were the best hairdresser! Gonna miss you and your talented hands! Sending my condelences to the family.

This world is a lesser place with the loss of our friend, Vern. A true artist, good friend and great man. Rest in Peace, my brother.

Vern, I just found out about your home-going to be with the Lord. I will miss you so much and have so many fond memories of the years I've appreciated your artistry as you cared for your customers. Bless you!

I just wanted to send my prayers and condolences to Vern's family. I was his client for the past 10 years and had appts. set into Dec. I can't express how much I miss him and how surprised I was to hear of his passing. His joy of life and caring personality was and will remain with me always. His love for his girls was to be commended. After attending his service I can see how much he was loved and the background he thrived in and made him what a joy and pleasure he was to know.
