I had the opportunity of working with Bob while stationed in the Air Force, ITT and InDyne; he always had a way of looking on the funny side of things which I really enjoyed. I missed him when I left Vandenberg a few years ago and I will miss knowing the emails I looked forward to will end. Wish his family my sincerest prayers for comfort and may the good memories be with you always.

Bob was always a cheerful part of my frequent trips to the warehouse, but for so many of you, he was part of your "every-day". My heart goes out to all of you who worked with him, and to his family, my heartfelt prayers for comfort and peace.

I had the very good fortune and extreme privilege to meet Bob thru Helen. I felt like we were old friends within the very first moment I met him - truly a warm, sincere, loving soul with a twinkle in his eye and such a wonderful sense of humor. I was very shocked and saddened to learn of his passing. It makes sense though in that God called home one of his Angels that was living here on Earth - God wanted Bob with him now. I know we will all see you again, Bob! Wait for us!

Bob Trott was my best friend in the whole world. He would call me BFE which meant Best Friend Ever, but I told him it meant Big Fat Elephant! LOL. He would come over every night for coffee except for Thursdays when he went to get grocerys. We also rode together most mornings and had some great laughs. My husband, daughter, and gunner (our lab) truly loved his positive attitude about everything in life. I miss him every day. My prayers go out to your family.
I love you Bob.

Helen couldn't say it any better when she said Bob's mold was thrown away when he was born for no one can replace such a wonderful man. Bob was one of my nearest and dearest friends. He always had a smile for everyone and a wave hello. Like a said in my eulogy, my world, while he was in it was a better place. My heart and prayers are with his family. I miss you very much Bob. Look after my family from Heaven, please!

I want to thank the entire Trott family for letting me share your farewell to Bob. It was a beautiful memorial to him. I worked with Bob for over 20 years and he was always the happiest and funniest person to work with. He was a true friend and the most caring loving man. I thank God for giving me Bob as a friend if only for such a short time. Life will not be the same without Bob. Every time I see a lighthouse or Yankee candle it will bring a smile to my face and think of him. I am sure Bob is making everyone in heaven smile and laugh as he did on earth.
