Marylou Gomez Obituary

Marylou Solis Gomez
July 30, 1938 – December 27, 2010
Marylou Solis Gomez, 72, of Santa Maria, passed away December 27, 2010 at home.
Our mother will be remembered as a wonderfully strong and special woman full of life! She was a loving, kind, happy, joyful and a very faithful person. Everyone who met her adored and loved her. She welcomed everyone with open arms, helping those who needed her with patience and loving kindness. Whatever she had was shared with all. She was a very selfless person and put everyone else before her. Her family meant the world to her and there was nothing she wouldn't do for them. There was nothing more precious to her than her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. There truly are no words that can describe nor express how loved she was by all and how much she loved everyone. Our Dad and Mom exposed us to everything they possibly could to ensure we would have a life filled with love, respect, and adventure.
Marylou Gomez is survived by her children Guadalupe (Johnny) Garcia, Sophia (Victor) Garcia, Ruben Gomez, Rebecca (Bobby) Ramos, Jose Gomez and Rudy Gomez; 13 grandchildren; 19 great- grandchildren; five sisters; one brother and numerous nephews, nieces and friends.
She is preceded in death by her one and only love Jose C. Gomes, husband of 54 years and her loving grandson Victor Salazar Garcia III. They are asleep together conscious of nothing awaiting the resurrection and will never be forgotten. They are in our memories that we will store in our hearts. Jehovah God will keep them in his memory. "With that I heard a loud voice from the throne say: Look! The tent of God is with mankind, and he will reside with them, and they will be his peoples And God himself will be with them. And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore! The former things have passed away" Revelation 21:3,4
Visitation will begin 5:00 P.M., Sunday, January 2, 2011 in the Chapel of Magner-Maloney Funeral Home with Funeral Services beginning at 7:00 P.M. Graveside Services will be 11:00 A.M., Monday, January 3, 2011 at the Santa Maria Cemetery.
Arrangements are in the care of Magner-Maloney Funeral Home and Crematory. Sympathy notes and words of support may be expressed at www.magnermaloney.com.
