RONNIE KASE Obituary

Ronnie Hideto Kase
Ronnie was born September 22, 1955, in Fukuoka, Japan. He is the youngest son of Kaneto and Terue Kase. Ronnie passed away on October 10, 2010, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Ronnie came to the United States at the age of three and graduated from Santa Maria High School in 1974. His career consisted of counter top fabrication, cabinet making and installation. He was very good with his hands no matter what project he was mastering. He loved to tinker with broken items and had the gift of taking things apart and repairing them.
His greatest joy was to camp locally with his family, especially when his grandchildren were with him. Ronnie was very proud of his grandchildren, especially watching Jake play freshmen football at Righetti High School. He loved to BBQ and maintained a beautiful yard that consisted of a koi pond that he had built.
He was preceded in death by his father, Kaneto Kase and his parents-in-law, Bob and Jo Moore. He is survived by his loving wife, Linda, his daughters by marriage, Jennifer and her husband John Vargas, Kimberly and her husband, Eric Hames, and their grandchildren, Nick, Anthony, Brittani, Jake, Caileigh, Cheyanne, and Madison. His brother, Larry and his wife, Vickie, his sister, Helen Cruthirds and his nephew and nieces, Jeffrey and his wife, Marie, Kasey and her husband Francisco Solorio, Emiko and her husband, James Gerber, Jaclyn, Monique, Kira, Malia, Frankie, Willa and Ellie.
Ronnie touched so many people with his kind and gentle nature. His sense of humor and kindness stayed with him even throughout his illness.
His family thanks the staff at Marian Medical Hospital for the special care he received during his stay.
A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, October 18, 2010 at 1:00 pm in the Chapel of Dudley-Hoffman Mortuary. Burial will follow at the Santa Maria Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the direction of Dudley-Hoffman Mortuary, Santa Maria, California.

Ronnie Kase was a quiet influence to everyone he touched. His gift was that of a good- natured and giving man who loved his family and mentored his children and grandchildren, always bringing a positive attitude wherever he went. His creative style was purely his and his alone, as witnessed in the many projects he undertook in his lifetime.

To his wife, Linda, grandchildren, his loving mother, siblings Helen and Larry, along with the entire Kase family, please accept heartfelt condolences for the loss of this self-made man. The memory of Ronnie will last throughout our lifetime.
