Dear Laura and The Clark Family,
Our deepest condolences on the loss of such a wonderful person. We admired Jeff's gentlemanly ways, positive nature and consistent fairness. He always took the opportunity to mention and bring out the good in people. As a past board member of the DBA under Jeff's Presidency it was a joy to observe Jeff's gift of hearing everyone's side, then carefully weighing in with his decision and somehow always having everyone happy in the end. Not an easy task! He will be deeply missed. It has been our honor to know him.
With love,
Christel and Colin MacLean

A 32 year Ameriprise advisor here who's proud to say he know Jeff well. respected him immensely and will miss him dearly.
His Ameriprise career also included serving 4 years as a National Franchise Advisory Council member (10 people out of 10,000) to which I asked him to run for election, he did and at the end of his 4 years, he handed it back to me. The news of his loss has made it to the very top of Ameriprise. As many, including our Regional Vice President have said to me, "He was one of the good guys". I couldn't agree more. Just a class act of integrity, care and honesty.

All of us at St. Christopher's Church, Cobleskill, are keeping the Clark/Swartz family in our prayers for God's comfort and peace, at this difficult time.
"Rest eternal grant to Jeff, O Lord:
And let light perpetual shine upon him.
May his soul, and the souls of all the departed,
through the mercy of God, rest in peace."
With much sympathy and love in Christ,
from Walter Clark's priest and parish --

Deepest sympathies to you Laura and the Clark family on Jeff's passing.
Will always remember my short chat with Jeff by the stove at the Camp Saratoga snowshoe race this winter, and most of all our side by side race the previous winter DOWN THE BERRY POND CIRCUIT ROAD to the finish line in the Curly's 5 mile race. What a spirited man Laura you were blessed to have.

I met Jeff 20 years ago as a customer in my retail establishment. Over these many years he became more than a customer to me and all my staff. We could tell Jeff was above and beyond as a person. I had the honor of getting to know a lot about his past through conversations we had. Being about the same age,I was in total awe of what this man accomplished. In the Military, as a loving husband and father, and as a true American- always giving something back. Jeff will be sorely missed by many people.
Luckily, I saw him not to long ago and he showed unbelievable courage in trying to beat his illness.
He touched my life in such a positive way and I am sincerely sorry to his family for their loss.
