My prayers are with you. I learned of the accident on the surfrider's website, about the memorial ride. I lost a son too and have found much help from Compassionate Friends/Bereaved Parents of the US group. When you are ready, perhaps there is one of these groups meeting near you that can help ease your burden. It may not feel like it now but you will be able to get along with your life, bringing Ashley right along with you in your heart, because he will always still be a part of your family.

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.
Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."
It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man.
God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.
When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.
I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.
There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.
If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.
So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.
And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

Our Father in Heaven, I come to you in the name of Your Son, Jesus Christ and ask you to comfort Ashley's family in the midst of his tragic loss. Please help little Noah in a way that only you can, help him feel as if he is being held in your arms, comforted and protected, calm his spirit and give him peace and wisdom that can only come from You. Father, please strengthen Ashley's parents, all of his brothers, grandparents and all those who so dearly, dearly loved him in the days and months and years ahead. Help them to lean on you and pray for comfort. Please help the children who knew Ashley in the community too. It's difficult for them. I praise you and thank you for the time Ashley's family had with him and the gift you gave to them through him. I praise you that Ashley knew you. Words cannot describe the hurt or the pain that everyone is feeling at this time. There are questions of "why"? along with the thoughts that he was only a child. I know it hurts but just as Ashley prayed and helped others, God will do the same for you. There are so many things in life that we don't understand but one thing that I understand and that I am confident of, is God and His infinite abilities to love, heal,comfort,and restore. Although you are hurting, God is going to bring you through. He is going to heal your heart and restore your soul. I have been praying for you and my church family has lifted you up in prayer before the Lord. God is there for you. Just truly put your trust in Him, lean and depend on Him right now because He cares and He will take care of you. The plans and purpose God had for Ashley here on earth were fulfilled. Physically he has left here but spiritually he has gone on to receive his reward which is eternal life in Heaven with God. I can't tell you not to cry because I know it hurts, but what I want you all to know is that no matter what you face in your life, no matter how painful or hurting it may be, turn it over to Jesus and He will truly comfort you and give you peace.
