I WAS SURPRISED AND SADDENED TO SEE THE OBITUARY ON BOB. HE ALWAYS HAD A SMILE AND A FRIENDLY "HI,WILL", WHEN I WOULD SHOW UP AT THE SENIORS' TABLE AT KIWANIS EACH TUESDAY. AND HE WAS AN INTERESTING PARTICIPANT DURING THE QUESTION AND ANSWER SESSION OF THE KIWANIS PROGRAM. I DID NOT VISIT BOB AFTER HIS ACCIDENTAL FALL, LEAVING HIM INSTEAD TO HIS PRIVACY; BUT I WOULD ALWAYS ASK ABOUT BOB OF A FELLOW KIWANIAN WHO DID VISIT BOB EACH WEEK. AND I REMEMBER BOB SO FAVORABLY FROM MY OWN TRIPS TO THE LOCAL HOSPITAL, WHERE HE WOULD GREET ME ALONGSIDE THE PINK LADIES, WITH WHOM HE SERVED HIS COMMUNITY.

I had the pleasure of working with "Mr. Bob" at the hospital. I was working in the registration department and he was our "Red Man" with the Pink Ladies on Monday afternoons. We talked a lot and he was just such a kind, funny, yet professional gentleman. I, as well as many others, will certainly miss him and his dry wit. My prayers are with your family in your time of grief and sorrow.
