Harold Fields

Mr. Harold Billy Fields, Sr. - SAVANNAH - Mr. Harold B. Fields, Sr. 86, entered into rest on Wednesday, October 10, 2012 at St. Joseph's Hospital. He was a native of Savannah, GA. He was a graduate of A.E. Beach High School, Savannah State University where he received his BS Degree, West Virginia State, Michigan State and a Master's Degree from Clark/Atlanta University. He was a member of First Bryan Baptist Church and served in the Brotherhood Organization and a Sunday School Teacher. He retired from Savannah Chatham Board of Education as a retired Counselor at Jenkins High School. He was also a Business Education teacher in Tatnall County. He was President of the Savannah's Checker Club, NEA, GAE, CAE and he was also a Coach/Referee for high school basketball and football. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Beverly M. Fields, his son, Harold Billy Fields, Jr., and wife, Gladys Louise Fields. Survivors are: one daughter, Betty L. Fields of Savannah, GA, four grandchildren, Chantelle Fields, Jennifer Blackwell, Jordan Fields, and Aaron Fields, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Sidney A.
