Carolyn Todd Purvis - GLENNVILLE - Carolyn Todd Purvis, 81, passed away Friday, November 22, 2013 at her residence surrounded by her family and under the care of Heartland Hospice. She was born August 25, 1932 to Charlie Pledger and Leona Johnson Todd and lived in Glennville all of her life. She was co-owner of Purvis Garage, a homemaker and a member of Northside Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by, parents, two brothers, and seven sisters. She is survived by, Husband of 64 years, Clarence Purvis of Glennville, GA; Children, Dale (Vonda) Purvis of Manitowoc, WI, Dianne (Brian) Knight of Glennville, GA, Donna (Lee) Burkhalter of Glennville, GA;Grandchildren, Blair (Phil) Roscoe, Jordan Knight, Jay Knight, Johnathon Purvis, Todd Burkhalter, Charles Burkhalter; Great Grandchildren, Jadan Knight, Harper Roscoe, several nieces and nephews also survive. Special Caregivers: Kathleen Sharpe, Becky Laufman, Selena Swindell, Patty Cribbs, Jessica Kicklighter Visitation will begin at 5:00 pm Monday, November 25, 2013 at Brannen Kennedy Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 am Tuesday, November 26, 2013 at Northside Baptist Church.
