KARON JOY BRECHT

KARON JOY BRECHT Died at age 68, Aug. 21, 2010, of congestive heart failure. She was born in San Bernardino, CA, raised in Bloomington & resided in Colton for 49 years. She worked as a computer programmer at Loma Linda Med. Center for 18 years. She was involved with St. John's Lutheran Church in Colton, sang in the choir, taught Sunday School, helped preschool, served as treasurer & board member. She volunteered as a teacher's aide at San Salvador Preschool. She attended Trinity Lutheran Church in San Bernardino, sang special music as well as helped with office duties. Survived by her brothers, Terry & Mark Stracke; sons, Gene Jr., Kevin & Paul; daughter, Kim; & 4 grandchildren, Chris Martinez, Katy, Jason & Sarah Brecht. Funeral was held private for family at Green Acres. Memorial Service will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church in San Bernardino, Saturday, Sept. 18, at 11:00 A.M.
