Joyce Schwalm Obituary
Born April 19, 1932, in Hegins, she was a daughter of the late Delbert and Carrie Yoder Dunkelberger.
In addition to her parents, Joyce was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, LeRoy W. Schwalm; four sisters; a great-grandson.
Surviving to celebrate her life are a son, Vaughn LeRoy Schwalm, Pine Grove; a daughter, Holly Joyce Schwalm, Mechanicsburg; three granddaughters, Jennifer D. Schwalm, Tricia D. Carbaugh and Sarah J. Price; four great-grandchildren, Abigayle Hurley, Tyler Buchenauer, Maci Carbaugh and Haylee Baer.
A memorial service will be held at noon March 24 at St. Matthew's United Church of Christ, Carlisle, with Pastor Timothy P. Dugan officiating. A private burial will be held at the convenience of the family at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville. A visitation will be held from 11 a.m. March 24 until the time of the service at the church. Arrangements have been entrusted to Hoffman Funeral Home & Crematory, 2020 W. Trindle Road, Carlisle.
