Ada Leffler Obituary

Ada R. Leffler, 85, a resident of Rest Haven nursing home, Schuylkill Haven, formerly of Pine Grove, passed away Monday at Schuylkill Medical Center-South Jackson Street.

Born in Pine Grove, Oct. 2, 1924, she was a daughter of the late Hiram and Katie Smith Kreiser.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey E. Leffler; a granddaughter, Kennett Marie Gehman; two brothers, Guy and Norman Kreiser; a sister, Maude Metzger; and three stepbrothers, Raymond, Thomas and Oscar Wolfe.

Surviving are two sons, Fred and his wife, Helen Leffler, and Arthur Leffler, both of Pine Grove; a daughter, Betty Gehman, Havre De Grace, Md.; two granddaughters, Maureen Zerbe and Jessica Leffler; and two great-grandchildren, Ayden and Paige Zerbe.

All services will be held at H.L. Snyder Funeral Home Inc., Pine Grove, at the convenience of the family with Dr. Richard Schoenleber officiating. Interment will be in St. Matthew's Lutheran Cemetery, Ravine. In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer contributions in her memory be made to Rest Haven, 401 University Drive, Schuylkill Haven, PA 17972.
