Jane Mount Obituary

Jane A. Zerbe Mount, 63, of Sweet Arrow Lake Road, Pine Grove, passed away March 31 at Tremont Health and Rehabilitation Center.

Born Jan. 5, 1952, in Pottsville, she was a daughter of the late Amos and Alice Hesser Zerbe.

She was a 1969 graduate of Pine Grove Area High School and a graduate of the Pottsville Hospital School of Nursing.

Jane was an RN, who genuinely loved the residents of the group home where she last worked.

She was a former member of the Pine Grove Wesleyan Church, where, prior to her illness, she loved to share the beautiful singing voice God gave her.

Surviving are a son, Jeremy and his wife, Maureen Zerbe, Pine Grove; a daughter, Samantha and her husband, Donald Kichline, Mohrsville; five grandchildren, Ayden and Paige Zerbe and Gabriel, Ava and Willow Kichline; a sister, Leanda Zerbe, and a brother, Peter Zerbe, both of Pine Grove, who were outstanding caregivers to their sister until she went to the nursing home.

Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday from H.L. Snyder Funeral Home Inc., Pine Grove, with Pastor Randy Bond officiating. There will be a calling hour from 10 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer contributions be made in her memory to the Center for Neurodegenerative Disease Research, c/o Michael Sofolarides, Penn Medicine Development, 3535 Market St., Suite 750, Philadelphia, PA 19104 or online at http://www.med.upenn.edu/cndr/giving.shtml.

My thoughts are with all of you who knew Jane. The end of her life was not easy, but I was impressed with the fact that even though she suffered greatly, that she could express love to all around her. I will miss her warm hugs. Love to you all.

I will miss you very much . You were and always will be my ball of sunshine.I loved the way you laughed and always said it could be much worse.I will always cherish the memories we have. I liked when we pretended we were dancing.you never complained and always had a smile for me. Now you are the brightest flower in gods garden.it was an honor to be your care giver. I learned a lot from you .I want to be as strong and brave as you.I love you my dear sweet Jane (an angel among us) .
