David Panchari Obituary

David Peter Panchari, 77, of Arnot's Addition, Saint Clair, died Wednesday at home surrounded by his loving family and dog, Rocky.

Born Sept. 5, 1938, he was a son of the late Peter and Catherine Tomko Panchari.

He worked as a tool and dye machinist at Air Products, Trexlertown.

He served in the Air Force.

He was a member of St. Clare of Assisi Church, Saint Clair. He was a 1956 graduate of Saint Clair High School, and was a member of the NRA and DAV.

He cherished and loved spending time with his grandchildren. He enjoyed his cabin in Clinton County and going to wing night with his buddies. He was an avid hunter and fisherman.

He was married to his wife, Theresa Laguna Panchari, for 54 years. In addition to his wife, at home, he is survived by daughters, Catherine Panchari, Valley View, and Deborah Panchari Shaud, wife of Robert Shaud, New Ringgold; son, David, husband of Lisa Panchari, Auburn; brother, Robert, husband of Joann Panchari, Saint Clair; granddaughter, Madeline Panchari, Auburn; grandson, Gavin Panchari, Auburn; nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Clare of Assisi Church, Saint Clair, with Monsignor William F. Glosser officiating. A funeral procession will leave the funeral home at 10 a.m. Friends are invited to call from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at James H. Evans Funeral Home Inc., Saint Clair. Burial with military honors will be held at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville. The family would prefer contributions to St. Clare of Assisi Church, Saint Clair. James H. Evans Funeral Home Inc., Saint Clair, has charge of arrangements.
