James Capelle Obituary

James A. Capelle, 68, of Tremont, passed away June 6 at his home.

Born in Wauwatosa, Wis., June 20, 1948, he was a son of the late Eugene and Wilma Wynveen Capelle.

Jim was a graduate of Oak Creek High School, Class of 1966, in Wisconsin, and then served in the Army as an EENT specialist in the Vietnam War from 1968 to 1971. After his service to his country, Jim received a bachelor's degree in business administration from Nathaniel Hawthorne College in New Hampshire in 1974 and a bachelor's degree in finance and accounting from New Hampshire College in 1976.

Jim worked as a corporate treasurer at Day Environmental Engineering in Hartford, Conn., and then as the assistant district manager for C.J. Clark in Massachusetts.

He was a member of Foursquare Gospel Church, Pottsville.

Jim is survived by his wife of 20 years, Anna M. Bouchard Capelle, Tremont; two step-daughters, Dawn M. Jarman and her husband, Patrick, Hattiesburg, Miss., and Katherine A. and her fiance, John Hatch Smith, Hebron, Conn.; a grandson, Jackson Jarman.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Foursquare Gospel Church, Pottsville, with Pastor David Poissant officiating. Relatives and friends are invited to visit with the family from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at Foursquare Gospel Church. Interment will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Foursquare Gospel Church, 2300 Mahantongo St., Pottsville, PA 17901. Robert A.
