Nov. 26, 1937 - April 14, 2014
Mass of Christian Burial will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Richmond, MN for Dwayne Hensel, age 76, who died Monday at the St. Cloud Hospital. Inurnment will be in the parish cemetery.
Relatives and friends may call from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. Tuesday (TODAY) at the Wenner Funeral Home in Cold Spring. Parish Prayers will be at 7:30 p.m. Visitation will continue from 11:00 - 1:15 p.m. Wednesday morning at the funeral home.
Dwayne was born in Timber Lake, SD to Herman and Frances (Carls) Hensel. He married Kathleen (Kay) Orth on July 22, 1961 in St. Paul's Catholic Church, St. Cloud, MN. Dwayne worked as a manufacturing engineer for Pako Corp., A.D.C Telecommunications and Varitronics. He enjoyed golf, fishing with his grand- children, playing cards, vacationing in Arizona and spending time with family and friends. Dwayne was a member of the Cold Spring American Legion and Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church.
Survivors include his wife, Kay; children, Gregg (Carol), Brent (Joan), Corey (Julia); son-in-law, Bradley Bartholomew; siblings, Robert (Joyce), Theresa (Jerry) Carpenter, Darald (MaryAnn); grandchildren, Zachary, Nathan, Scott, Sarah, Jacob, Patrick, William and Noelle.
He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Sheryl Bartholomew; and sister, Francine Martin.
