To all of Betty's family, this is Kelley McKenzie's sister, Chris. I would like to convey our sincere sympathy. The last time I saw Betty was at my sister Kelley's farm in New Durham, she was vibrant and looked wonderful!! I will always remember her that way, laughing and joking with me and my grandchildren. Though I did not get to see her often, she will always be in my heart. Chris McKenzie

To all in Betty's family,
What a joy it was to go to Betty's house and see her smiling face. She always had a kind word for me, a chuckle or two and of course a hug before I left. I was her gardener for 5 years. She loved her gardens and flowers. As we walked around to discuss what needed to be done she would share her pride of her children and grandchildren. I never did see her without a smile nor did her possitive attitude on life ever dwindle. I will miss that wonderful sweet southern accent when she would say....bye.(baah)
