Michael Hollenbeck Memoriam

Michael Leo Hollenbeck

a.k.a Stereo Gnome

Mike as he was known to many was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico on March 21, 1971 to Virlinda A Hollenbeck and Richard White. He was dearly loved and heavily influenced by his grandparents Julius Leo Hollenbeck, and Elvira Hollenbeck. He survived by his sisters Heather Santillanes, and Christina Bentz, his cousin Jacob Hollenbeck, niece Kimberly Gordon, nephews Matthew Santillanes, and Matthew Bentz. Also among family who loved him were his step-father Laurence D. Willard, Great Uncle Thomas Constant, and many great friends.

Our dear brother and friend was a genuine caring soul with an absolutely brilliant mind. His unique points of view made him a bright light among all who knew him. He had an immense passion for music which began when he picked up the guitar at the age of three. Over the years his unique style led him to play in bands like Disband, Fog People, and Void Cathedral. Most recently, his skill was woven into Seattle's Gunstreet Glory. He was a fixer, an organizer, a performer you could count on, a sound guy, recording engineer...

On Saturday January 12, 2013 he had another journey to face, one of peace where his spark can shine on.
