Grandpa I have spoken to you many times since you passed on into the peaceful heavens above. So many fond memories of special times spent with you and grandma flood my mind and consume my heart.
I am thankful that I got to spend my childhood living within blocks of my grandparents. I could see you almost daily and the time I spent with you as I grew up was priceless.
I love and miss you Grandpa and when it's my time...I will see you again.

My mother, Henny, lived at Tranquility with Herb for the last 14 months. I got to know Herb during my many visits to see mom, especially the last few weeks before she passed away on the 24th of January. I remember seeing all your family at the Open House on the 19th of December.
Herb was a real gentleman and I"m sure he will be missed by all of you. My sympathies are with you.

Dear Children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren of Herb and Nadine: I grew up in Richmond Highlands; we knew Bessie B's very well; and when the Shoreline Museum was establlished (I helped with that, as it was in our old school house, Ronald) I helped plan a tribute to her as one of the pioneers of our community. My Mom and
Dad were Joe and Helen Burke. Herb and Nadine also supported
the Shoreline Historical Museum. We remember them and thank
them for their loyal support. Barbara Burke Monks, Poulsbo, WA

He was a great man...we rented a house from him and Nadine, a special spark went on when I told him I was from Belgium. He had lived there. As his tenant I used to bring him back Belgium cholocate and talked about place he had visited.
We spend many great moments with him, Nadine and Pam.
