Arlene was a very loving and caring mother and person. She always made sure we were cared for and loved. I enjoyed the many excursions we went on. Exp 86 in Vancouver. The many hiking and camping trips. The yearly summer trips to visit her home town of Richardton N.D. where we got to spend time with grandparents, uncles, aunts and cousins. She spent most her childhood growing up above the bar that her parents owned up until the early 90's. She made a very brave decision after graduating high school to go to college in Missoula Montana and then after graduating going even further west to Seattle where she attended the UW. It was here that while renting a room in a house with other students she met our dad Meech and eventually married and started a family in the small town of Bellevue. They bought the best house in a new development which was on the edge of wilderness. It was a kids dream. Every weekend we would venture out and explore and only when we felt hungry in the evening would we make it back home. Arlene never liked being idle and kept busy being a teachers aid, cub scout leader, avon lady and going on countless hikes and camping trips with her friends. She was an active member of the Bellevue garden club and loved to paint and make decorations. We will miss you dearly mom.
