Donald Nelson Obituary
Donald Nelson passed away November 2, 2016, just weeks after turning 93. He was born in 1923 in Fargo, N.D., one of five children.
Don was an avid fisherman, loved to dance and was a voracious reader. He served in the Army during World War II and spent his career as an aerospace engineer, retiring in 1988 to Shoreline with his wife of 51 years, Dorothy. She died in 1998.
He is survived by his sister, Marilyn, his sons David and John, their wives and three grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and his dear friend, June Chambers.
A celebration of Don's life will
be Sat., 11/12 at 1:00 p.m. in the Clubhouse at Forest Hills Condos, 1718 NE 179th St., Shoreline, WA.
