Erik was gentle spirt who loved life, Lotus and Jeannette. It was a joy to watch their romance become a beautiful marriage. Their love and commitment to one another was example to the rest of us.

I first met Erik about 35 years ago now while working at Crista Ministries. We quickly became good friends. We had a lot of good times skiing, cycling, camping and working together. He was a quiet man with a quick wit and a dry sense of humor. He also became good friends with all my family members. We will truly miss him.

I met Erik, about 30 years ago, at CRISTA, where we both worked. We became friends and he, a few others and I would go out after work, on many Friday's, to socialize. He was always so kind and I loved that he laughed so easily.
One Valentine's Day, he gave a single stem rose to each of gals in CRISTA's Accounting and we were all so touched by this.
He was a sweetheart and it was so awesome when he married HIS sweetheart, Jeannette.
Because of our faith in Jesus Christ, I know I'll be seeing my friend again. Still very sad that he left us, and my heart aches for Jeannette, who gave Erik
such loving care during his illness.
Hope he's racing fast cars up in Heaven on those streets of gold!
Happy Trails, Erik, until we meet again...
