Paul Cautard Obituary

Paul Louis CAUTARD 9-19-1923 ~ 3-1-2011 Born and raised in Paris, France. Joined the French Resistance 1940-1944 to fight Nazi Occupation of France. Was an occupational soldier of Germany and Japan after their defeat in WWII. Spoke five languages, French, German, Japanese, English and Spanish. Moved to the USA 4-16-1948. Lived with Aunt and Uncle in Seattle. Served Dept. of Navy, USCG, Merchant Marine Aug. 1950-June 1955. Traveled to Mexico on vacation and met mom. They were married in Mexico 4-21-1956. Worked at Boeing A/P Mechanic 1956-1988. Loved his family and friends, camping, parties, travel, and a good drink. Suffered stroke Dec. 2002. Passed away after short illness. Survived by his wife, Concha, sons Michael (Nancy) and Johnny (Theresa), grandchildren Shani, Jim, Paul, Stephanie and Christopher, great-granddaughter Hailey.A special thanks to the staff and doctors on 5N at Providence Mt. St. Vincent DePaul for taking great care of dad. A celebration of his life will be held at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 6701 30th Ave. S.W., Seattle, WA at 1:00 P.M., 3/11/2011.

we are here if you need us. Paul was a dear friend to us and we know all of you for ages!!!! we are like family. Great loss, but he is in a better place.
