James Breiner Obituary

James W. BREINER James 'Jim' William Breiner, 75, of Federal Way passed away on April 17, 2011. He was born September 7, 1935 in St Louis, Missouri to John and Louise Breiner, moving to Auburn when he was 7 years old. He joined the Merchant Marines at 16, seeing places like Hawaii and Saudi Arabia. He met his wife, Julaine 'Jill' in Auburn in 1956. They married a year later. In 1958 he was drafted into the Army, serving 4 years. He became a heavy construction truck driver for 38 years, retiring in 2003. He loved hunting, fishing and riding dirt bikes as a younger man and enjoyed time with family and friends during his retirement. Jim is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Jill, daughter Sheryl (Dan) Cox, son Bill (Marlene) Breiner, daughter Valerie (Charles) Steimle, son Erik (Laureen) Breiner, 16 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and sister, Lavern Mead of Wellington, NV. He was preceded in death by his brother, Walter Breiner. Service will be held at Price-Helton Funeral Home in Auburn on Friday, April 22 at 1:00 p.m., with a graveside service at Mountainview Cemetery following.
