Niu On Ng

Niu On NG Niu On Ng, age 90, passed away peacefully in Seattle WA on Saturday March 12, 2011. Born on April 9, 1920 in the city of Toishan, Guangdong China, he immigrated to the United States and settled in Seattle with his family in 1966. He worked tirelessly as a chef to provide for his family until his retirement in 1982. He is survived by: beloved wife of 65 years Chai Ying; four sons, Hap (Catherine), Chung, Kim (Diana), Chun (Angela); two daughters, Yue Fong Lam (Joseph), Lai Fong Chin (Ronnie); sister Choi Wan Mark; 11 grandchildren, Carl, Patricia, Alison, Brittany, Bennett, Nicholas, Chase, Tyler, Jeffrey (Carrie), Jennifer (Kevin), Eugene and one great grandchild Cynthia. He was predeceased by grandchild Dennis. Services will be held at Sunset Hills Memorial Park and Funeral Home at 1:30 p.m. Visitation will be on Friday March 25 from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. Remembrances may be made to Kin On Health Care Center, (206)721-3630 or kinon.org.
