I met Boyd Brown in Seattle some time after he played in the NFL. He had a good heart and soul and the best intentions. You don’t meet very many people like that! He was a juggernaut, hands down. And I know I am not the only who feels that way. He is loved and missed by me and many others , of that, I am sure of ❤

I was looking up Boyd's NFL stats to, because I was telling my friends about working with him in Boeing 737 wing line We where partners in wing line. He was the best riveting partner I had. He and I could out do all the the rest of the crew. I was very surprised to see this obituary for. The last time I saw him we both had gotten much better jobs at Boeing. So sorry for your loss.
He was a good friend.

LOVE YOU DAD

So sorry to heard about Boyd passing. I retired from Boeing about 5 years ago and worked closely with Boyd. Boyd has a talent for bringing out the best in everyone he comes in contact with and this world will miss him dearly. Whenever in the Seattle area, I have always hoped to to run into him. Now I guess I'll just have to look a little higher.

Boyd, you are gone but not forgotten. I will always remember those old days playing football for the "WCTS" Wildcats. We played side by side (you played tight end and I played left tackle.) Play no. 22 always ran on our side. You blocked for James Elmo down field because we had signals for you to stay on the line and help me block the defensive end or go down field and block. 99% of the time you were signal to go block down field. FIP my Brother...........

Sorry to hear of your loss. Man, I can still remember holding and quickly releasing my block on the old "play #22" at WCHS so I could look to my right and watch Boyd nail his defender while James Elmo turned on that 9 something 100 speed for the touchdown. RIP teammate.

THOSE WERE GOOD YEARS

Playing and sometimes speaking our mines as kids growing up
Sharing Mom and Dad
Mississippi Country, good growing soil

Those were good years
The challenge of school and its new roads
Each game and Each trip, more of that new world with its fame and realities

Then the years of conquest with matching pain
While the winds of change bring new family
With smiling growing life

Those were goods years
With her at your side
And she was always there

And now we're at that small reality of the road,
But with our faith and strength
We'll continue to remember and love those good years.

You treated me like a sister from the very beginning! I thank you for the many times we spent together whenever Rudy and I came home to Crosby, or drove up to Alcorn to see you play! I will always remember the fiasco we had on my wedding day in New Orleans! You, our Best Man, had a small accident and Carrollton was in an uproar! My family still talks about that to this day! We made the newspaper!!! RIP!

After the clouds, the sunshine; after the winter, the spring; after the shower, the rainbow; for life is a changeable thing. After the night, the morning, bidding all darkness cease, after life's cares and sorrows, the comfort and sweetness of peace. - Helen Steiner Rice
