Dear Pam and Terry-
Please know that our family is saddened to receive the news of your Mom's death. Our heartfelt sympathies to yourselves and your families on your loss. Your mom was such a positive influence on my family. Her simple gift of faithful, unconditional friendship enriched our close neighborhood. To us youngsters, she always took time for us and treated us with love and respect. The home she made for you and your dad was open to all. Parties, summer afternoons, school projects and crafts, treats, and the unscheduled lunch…We always felt welcome. I'll never forget the phone call one spring morning in 1958 telling my mom that Little League registration was going on right then at the Rec Center and we need to get up there if Little League was going to be in the cards! Away we went because after all, Terry (my mentor) was in Little League! Your mom had a giggle and a laugh that still makes me smile. The friendship she (and your dad) extended to my folks was such a blessing to them. God bless your family, and thank you for your friendship thru the years.
