Marilynn Odegaard Obituary
Marilynn M. Odegaard, 88, of Seattle passed away on July 7, 2013 in Shoreline, WA. She was born August 27, 1924 in Seattle, WA.
She is survived by her brother William E. Brown and his wife Carolyn, her daughters Carole Lynn Garcia and Constance Ann Mahlberg; her grandson Torrey Antonio Garcia and numerous nephews. She was preceded in death by her son Scott Keith Mahlberg whose father, Richard Keith Mahlberg, shared a 26 year long marriage, fatherhood of Constance and Carole and ownership of Bellingham Seattle Airways with Ms. Odegaard. She was also predeceased by husbands Earnest J. Lonstaff and Nicholas Odegaard. While working as a publicist and the executive secretary to the President of Whatcom Community College she meet Ernie and enjoyed traveling throughout the world, through Ernie's job with Boeing.
Marilynn was very active and enjoyed skiing, tennis and especially flying, she even had her own pilot's license.
She was a classic elegant beauty, respected in the community and beloved by all who knew her, her memory will be cherished and missed.
A memorial service will be held at 2 pm on Mon., July 15th at Aegis of Shoreline - Callahan House in Shoreline, WA.
