I am so very sorry to learn of Aud's passing. She was a wonderful and caring person, and a very valued member of our Pacific NW Chapter of Nordmanns-Forbundet (The Norse Federation). She always had a pleasant smile, and we all loved her.

I'm very sorry to hear of the loss of your beloved Aud Haarsaker. I did not know her, but in seeing her obit, wonder if my family is related. My grandfather, Elias Haarsaker came to the US from Trondheim Norway where he too was born. He was born in 1878 and died in 1964. He had lived in West Seattle and was a master carpenter. It would be a lovely thing to perhaps be related to this wonderful woman that you describe. If ever you wish to contact, you could reach me at [email protected]. May Aud rest in peace.
