I used to fly Model aircraft With Clark, I was just looking at a biplane he built that I bought from him. I spent many hours listening to his stories of flying Biplane trainers in the Army air corps. Till we meet again Aviator!

Grandpa I love you and will miss all the wonderful stories you would tell me as a child and an adult. Your legacy will live on with the stories, that I can now tell my children. They miss their GREAT Grandpa so much! See ya in a blink of an eye, I am sure you have a great story to tell me and I can't wait!

When I was 10 years old my father was the Apprenticeship Coordinator for Plumbers and Pipefitters Local 32. Sometimes he would take me to work, and I think thats where I first met Clark Bowen. It's hard to be sure, because I saw a lot of him back then, my father and Clark went fishing together, or Clark would drop by the house, not just to visit, he was always working, his mind was always thinking, always many steps ahead, always planning. He was one of my heroes growing up, I wanted to be like him when I grew up, I still do.
