I was Dewayne's first administrative assistant when he arrived Seattle. I thoroughly enjoyed working for him and admired how he tackled the big job given him - regional gangs. Remember trusting God and His Son Jesus Christ is the only way to get through hard times. Alfreyda and family I am so sorry for his passing - what a void he leaves. My prayers are with you.

We are so sorry for the loss of your husband and father. David and I just learned of Dewayne's death yesterday. It hurt David so bad, he was so fond of Dewayne, and although I had only met him a few times, I was very fond of him too. I know he will be greatly missed by everyone that knew him. Ya'll were so kind and thoughtful too us when Danny passed away. You and your family will be in our prayers and thoughts. May God bless each one of you. David sends him love.

Words cannot express how very saddened we are about Dewayne passing on. Dewayne was like a father figure to me and was instrumental in helping me throughout my railroad career. He was a man of good character and great integrity and we will miss him very much. He was great man and a good friend.
I pray that the family will find peace and strength through their faith and the many thoughts and prayers offered on their behalf by family and friends.
My sincere condolence to Alfreda and the rest of the family.
