Duane H. LARSON Duane H. Larson, age 79 passed away February 13 in Wenatchee, WA., where he has lived for 12 years. Duane is survived by his wife, Margaret Larson of Wenatchee; children: Michael Larson of Kent, WA., Michele Benckert of Kent, WA; Dean Larson of Tacoma, WA., and his stepson Patrick Simpson of Maple Valley, WA. Duane was in the US Coast Guard from 1947 until his retirement as a Lieutenant in 1973. He then was a school bus driver and trainer for the Renton School District. Service: 1:00 p.m., Thursday, February 17, 2011 at Jones, Jones, Betts Funeral Home, Wenatchee. Interment Friday, Feb. 18 at 10:15 a.m. at Tahoma National Cemetery.
