Elaine Montgomery Obituary

Elaine Justine MONTGOMERY of Bellevue, passed away at the family home in Bellevue on Tuesday, July 20, 2010. She was 56 years old. Elaine was born on May 27th 1954 in Ketchikan, Alaska, the daughter of Charlot and William Ross Wood. She was raised in Ketchikan and Anchorage Alaska, and resided in Bellevue since 1962. She graduated from Interlake High School in Bellevue, Washington. She worked as a supervisor at Swedish Hospital before becoming a Lab Technician for Pediatric Healthcare industry for the last 25 years. Elaine enrolled at Fairhaven College in Bellingham, Washington. She met her husband Kim Montgomery and they were married for 11 years and had two daughters, Katie and Sara Megan Montgomery. Elaine was a mother to many others besides Katie and Megan and enjoyed gardening, cooking, needlepoint, and flying kites. Her favorite pastime was spending time at the ocean. Survivors include daughter Katie and Megan, and brothers Jim and Tom. A memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 31st 2010 at Flintofts Issaquah Funeral Home, 540 E Sunset Way, Issaquah. A reception will follow.
