Eleanor Orff Obituary
Age 93, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family June 5. 2012. She was born January 30, 1919 in Stillwater, MN, one of 8 children. She is preceded in death by her husband, Dale. Ellie is survived by her children Craig (Mary), Linda, Bruce (Lynda) and Wayne, four grandchildren and six great grandchildren. In addition to being a homemaker, Mom devoted many hours of service to the VA Hosp., the soup kitchen, and church and friends. Mom will be dearly missed by her family and friends. Her faith in God, her kind and generous nature and her devotion to her family is her legacy. Funeral to be held on Sat., June 16 at 11am, Lakeridge Lutheran Church, 7465 S l12th St, Seattle, WA 98178. Reception to follow service. Gravesite service at Evergreen Washelli. Hello to All of the Orffs,
When I saw your mom's obituary in the Times it immediately brought back all those old memories of Renton Lutheran Church. My thoughts are with all of you as you go through this time of grieving. No matter how old or young you are it is always difficult to lose a parent.

Ellie was an amazing example of love and kindness. We have so many memories of times that we were blessed to be in her presence. Ellie was a part of our family too. Our love and prayers go out to Craig & Mary,Linda,Bruce & Lynda and Wayne.
