Elizabeth A. "Betty" Cady

Elizabeth Cady Obituary

Elizabeth A. (Betty) CADY Betty was born on March 10, 1922 in Santee, Nebraska and peacefully passed on May 9, 2011 in Peoria, Arizona at age 89. Betty and her husband Dick lived in Seattle for 54 years before moving to Freedom Plaza in Peoria, Arizona 12 years ago. They enjoyed their time together there. Over their 69 years of marriage, Mom and Dad so enjoyed traveling. When Dad retired, they bought a motor home and toured the states. Mom shared many a story over the years of that trip and others always amazing us with her razor sharp memory. Betty is survived by her husband Richard (Dick), son Jim (Judy), daughter Suzanne, Grandchildren Jeffrey (Laura), Justin, Jennifer and great-grandson Preston James Cady. At a later date, a memorial service will be held at Freedom Plaza, Peoria, Arizona. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Betty's memory to Make-A-Wish Foundation of Washington, 811 First Avenue, Suite 529, Seattle, WA 98104.
