Elizabeth Bourdage Obituary

Elizabeth M. BOURDAGE Elizabeth M. Bourdage beloved wife of Elmer J. Bourdage, passed away on November 17, 2010. Born on October 16, 1924 in Spokane Washington to Ralph and Frances Whitemarsh. She was raised in Pasco, Washington with her brother, Bruce and sister Jean. She met Elmer when he was sta tioned at the Navy Base in Pasco, WA during World War II. While he was overseas she moved to Seattle where she went to work for Boeing in the tool room. Elmer and Elizabeth were married on August 26, 1945 in Seattle Wash ington. She worked for the Post Of fice before getting a position at Stan dring Hospital in Burien Washington (later known as Shorewood Hospit al), where she retired from in 1989. She was the loving mother of four sons. Thomas in San Diego, Donald in Burien, Robert in Fort Worth and John in Burien. She is survived by her husband, Elmer, sons Thomas (Rebecca), Donald, Robert (Michelle) and John. Grandchildren Joseph, Aaron (Jerelyn), Regina, Monique and Mallory (Jeff). Great-Grandchil dren Rory and Brady. A celebration of her life will be held at Fauntleroy Church in West Seattle on May 7th at 2pm. Donations can be given in her honor to the American Cancer Society or to Fauntleroy Church, United Church of Christ in West Seattle.
