My prayers and sympathy are with you. When I graduated from the SD School of Mines, George and his team came to campus, interviewing only computer science people. I found George and told him I was a Mechanical Engineer and would really like to work for Boeing. He found time to interview me after the end of the regular day, and I ended up getting an offer and working for Boeing for the next 25 years. I always thought it was so kind of him to have gone out of his way to do that for me. I saw him frequently over the years and always found him to be the consummate gentleman!

Hi papa George, I know you're reading this because you read the paper everyday. Not a day will go by that I won't think of you and all of the memories that I have of you. Like the smell of fresh coffee at 0'dark thirty and the clinking of your spoon in your coffee cup, your make believe dog Jake and all of those summers up at lopez. A part of you will always live through me. I miss you papa.. I'll be seeing you papa. I love you.
