Gere Callahan Obituary

Gere Ann Schreiner CALLAHAN Passed away at home January 22nd, surrounded by family. Often describing herself as a homemaker, nothing gave her greater joy and satisfaction than to provide a welcome place, a warm cookie, and a ready ear. Gere Ann was preceded in death by her son Mark Callahan and is survived by her husband Thomas D. (Tom) Callahan, her daughter Ann Callahan, her son-in-law Terry Hendrickson, her grandchildren Emma Ashbrook, Matt Hendrickson, and Emily Hendrickson, and her sister-in-law Mariella Callahan. A celebration of her life will be held at North Creek Presbyterian Church in Mill Creek, WA on Saturday, January 29th at 2:00pm. She will be buried near her son and parents in Condon, OR. The family suggests that memorials be sent to the Gilliam County Library, PO Box 34, Condon, OR 97823.

I knew and loved Gere for some thirty years and truly celebrate a life well live! She was such a kind, dear and wonderful friend and person.
