Jim, I was glad to have had you in my life and to have know a great man. You were funny and fun to hang out with, and a great host. I, we loved going to your house for family gatherings. I miss those days. We had alot of joy at those events in your home. You shared everything you had. I felt you a very generous man. You would call me on New Years Eve to wish me a happy new year. That meant alot to me. You took good care of us all. If family needed a place to stay, your home was open. If someone was down and out, you were there offering whatever it took to assist. You were a very helpful caring man. My Mom thinks you were a very interesting man and enjoyed your company as well. I will forever think of you with great fondness.
Love Toni (Lavern) "Two blondes and a Redhead". (only those who really knew Jim will have heard that line many times)

My childhood is filled with memories of you and Grandma. From the time I was little and always at your house to the first time I placed Exton in your arms, you were always there for me, a truly "grand" parent of mine. I will treasure your memory and forever be proud of the legacy you left to the world. I remember all the times spent with grandma awaiting your arrival from work, and the feeling of completeness you brought with you once you came home. You were fun to talk to about things, and I always looked forward to being at your house for celebrations just to be around you and grandma. You were honorous, one to respect, a genius and pioneer of your profession, a model husband who truly loved and cared for his wife and it showed in both of you. You loved us all (the grandchildren) as best you knew and it was an honor to have you in my life. Thank you for always loving me as one of your own and never knowing or showing the difference. You were the only grandfather I've had and it was wonderful to know you. I love you grandpa. Take care

I love you grandpa, I will never forget the role you played in my life. You were always telling jokes and making us laugh. I loved having fresh baked salmon that you caught and grandma would cook for everyone, and all those football games that you and dad would bet over and make so much fun for everyone. I'll never forget those special days in the summer when you would take us down to Edmond's in the Model-A. I will never forget all the childhood memories I have of running around the shop and playing at your desk in your office. I love you grandpa, very much and I will look forward to seeing you in a new world where you are young again. Love Roseanne (your grand daughter forever)

I would like to express my condolences to the entire family. He was a great Grandpa. My favorite memory was my 8th birthday when he brought his beloved refinished Ford and gave everyone a ride. Thank you grandpa Jim for that memory.
