Lesa Oziel Obituary

Lesa Lee OZIEL Lesa was born January 16, 1916 in Seattle, Washington to Zelda (Zimbul) and Morris Tacher. She passed away at age 95 with her family by her side. Lesa graduated from Garfield High School in Seattle in 1934. Lesa met the true love of her life, Albert, in Seattle. Her precious Al predeceased Lesa. She was also predeceased by her loving son, Marvin, brothers Jack Tacher of Seattle and Dave Tacher of Burien. Lesa is survived by daughter Donna Brownstein of Portland, son Jerry Oziel of Portland, son Jay Oziel of Bellevue, daughter-in-law Laurel Oziel, grandson Robert Sacks, grandson Mark Sacks, granddaughter Stacey Oziel, granddaughter Alyssa Oziel, great-grandson Jacob Sacks, sister Colleen (Connie) Cordova of Bellevue, brother Solomon (Mick) Tacher of Mercer Island and nephews and nieces. Lesa was a professional singer in her early life. Lesa's later life was lived devoted to her husband Al and her large family. She was very active in the community serving as the President of the Sephardic Bikur Holim Synagogue Sisterhood in Seattle, an officer in Hadassah, and an active member of the City of Hope. Lesa loved golf and spent the latter part of her life in her house next to Glendale Golf and Country Club, of which she and Al were members. Lesa was a truly unforgettable personality, filled with life and zest, and great love and devotion to her husband and family. Lesa was spunky, plucky, very outgoing, warm, loving, affectionate, expressive and had a warm hug to greet those in her life. To say she didn't mince words is an understatement. Lesa lived on her own terms. She left an indelible impression on all she met and she will be missed by the many she impacted in her life. Services will be held at 12 noon February 17th at the Seattle Sephardic Brotherhood Cemetery. Memorial donations in Lesa's name may be made to the Sephardic Bikur Holim Synagogue.

Funny, happy, feisty, golf nut who loved Albert so much as we all did. Both unforgettable. Always told you what was on her mind. Took care of her parents till they passed away. Great cook! Unique mom.w
