Marion Eng Obituary

Marion Yee ENG February 5, 1926 ~ March 13, 2011 Marion, 85, passed away peacefully to be with the Lord after receiving excellent care by her adult family home and hospice care workers in Seattle, WA. She is deeply loved and will be missed by her daughters Tina, Sharon, and Debbie (Gordon Chan), and granddaughters (Cece and Christa Chan). Marion, born in Albany, NY, is also survived by her siblings Lydia Yee and Peter (Lonnie) Yee, and many other niec es, nephews and extended family members. Marion's loving actions, witty comments, creativity in cook ing, writing Chinese poetry, and mastering the art of making every one feel welcome (or entertained) whether in Chinese or in English - will be missed by all. Marion was preceded in death by her beloved husband Fong ('03), and eldest daughter Patty ('72). Now, in God's loving presence, the three can enjoy a happy reunion together in Heaven! What a great party that must've been! As for the rest of us, we can enjoy a Celebration of Marion's life to be held on Saturday, April 9, 11am, at Chinese Baptist Church, 5801 Beacon Avenue South, Seattle.
